Since her historic win, the Kenyan-bred beauty has nabbed countless endorsement deals – including Lancôme and Miu Miu – and has landed a major role in Star Wars.

There a many ways to “win” and Lupita is on-course to achieve them all. More power to her.

As controversy goes, the fourth and final season of ‘The Boondocks’ served it up in earnest. Indeed, beyond being a relative snoozer (criminal after the near five-year wait), it also was the first season of the cult hit to not feature the involvement of creator Aaron McGruder – who was reportedly booted from his own show.

Undeterred, McGruder is back with ‘Black Jesus’, which is about…well…Black Jesus.

Set to debut on Adult Swim on August 7th, the live-action comedy positions the religious figure in the heart of Compton. Each episode will see him navigate through the ratchet trials and tribulations of those that live in the neighbourhood.

Cop a gander of Cheryl Cole. Or Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, as she’s officially called now.

The British chart-topper, who will professionally go by ‘Cheryl’ following her recent shock marriage, appears a-front of The Times Magazine‘s latest issue.

And granted she looks all sorts of stunning, it’s her personal life that has the masses gripped the most.

As reported, the singer revealed this week that she and boyfriend of just three months, Jean Fernandez-Versini, tied the knot in a private ceremony on July 7th.

The news of the nuptials was interestingly timed in that it arrived exactly one week to the release of the star’s aptly titled new single ‘Crazy Stupid Love’. Things that make you go “hmm”.

It looks like it took an act of MAGIC! to end the reign of Australian rapstress Iggy Azalea‘s ‘Fancy’ atop the Hot 100.

Helping the ‘Bounce’ beauty bounce right into the history books as “longest reign at #1 on Billboard Hot 100 by a female rap artist” and “first female in history (of any genre) to see her first two charting singles hold the #1 and #2 spot simultaneously), it certainly served no shortage of status cementation.

It’s official! Nicole Scherzinger is an Epic artist.

As reported at the top of the year, the Pop chanteuse signed a lucrative deal with Sony Music, which included worldwide distribution for her upcoming new album.

And while it was confirmed in January that the former Pussycat Doll had inked an agreement with Sony’s RCA UK for the European release of the Tricky Stewart and The Dream helmed LP, her American predicament remained a mystery until today.

The conundrum ended this evening, though, when Epic Records (another Sony imprint) and its head L.A Reid tweeted the following…
