‘Copy written so don’t copy me‘.

Months ago, the report that famed photographer David La Chapelle was suing Pop vocalist Rihanna for illegally using some of his work for her ‘S&M’ video had many of the singer’s fans wondering just how she would handle the case.

Today, it has been confirmed that she and Chapelle have settled out of court for an ‘undisclosed amount‘.

Commercially, the last few years have seen songbird Mariah Carey’s wings clipped.

The diva’s newer releases has struggled to match the success of 2005’s triumphant chart comeback ‘The Emancipation of Mimi’, with her most recent effort ‘Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel’ tanking quite terribly in 2009.

However, it appears the new mother is ready to breathe new life into her career with a potential label move.

Music monarch Mary J. Blige may have gotten a name for ‘taking it to the streets’ with her fiery hip hop cuts, but now she’s taking that axiom to a new maximum.  Prepping fans for the release of her new single ’25/8′ – the first official release from parent album ‘My Life II’, the ‘Take Me As I Am’ hitmaker took to the streets of New York City with a camera crew at the ready to ask fans how they would enjoy having an extra hour a day and extra day a week.

Celebrating the birth of his second child just days ago ,  recent months have seemed to work out in Ne-Yo’s favour, from receiving praise following his ‘Michael Jackson Forever‘ performance to watching the anticipation for his upcoming album build after announcing its title here.
