Enter Mohombi. The Swedish/Congolese newcomer is the first signing to Lady GaGa hitmaker RedOne‘s new label 2101/Universal. Having drummed up much interest in his native lands, the singer/songwriter is looking to make a dent on the world-stage with his new single ‘Miss Me’.

The video for the Nelly-assisted cut, which features on his debut LP ‘Movement’ (due next year), premièred a few hours ago. Check it out below and let us know if you think Mohombi is breath of fresh air or just another R&B-Pop act by the numbers…

Nine year old Willow Smith was snapped with mother Jada Pinkett today (September 25th) at the Emporio Armani Womenswear Spring/Summer 2011 fashion show.

The mini-diva, who recently wrapped the video for debut single ‘Whip My Hair’ with director Ray Kay, reportedly sat beside the son of French prime minister Nicholas Sarkozy.

Randomness: I can’t settle on whether I commend Will and Jada on honing their little one into a chartable artist at 9, or wince at the fact that she’s so young. In any case, we can’t wait to see the ‘Whip My Hair’ video…

R&B singer Keri Hilson has been keeping very as of late. In between recording her new album ‘No Boys Allowed’, and filming videos, Hilson has remained a constant on the live circuit. She most recently performed in front of 800 school students at the Get Schooled National Tour, which took place at the Martin Luther King Jr High School.

Ne-Yo’s new album, ‘Libra Scale’, has been delayed again. The album will now hit stores on November 22nd (a Monday) during the same week as the release of Nicki Minaj’s ‘Pink Friday’ debut LP. This is the 3rd time that the record has been delayed since it’s initial release date of September 21st.

Singer/songwriter Dominique from Houston, Texas is this week’s Cover Star. Here is her version of Etta James’ classic ‘All I Can Do Was Cry’ which was recently made popular again by Beyonce. See the performance below:

What made that rendition so powerful was the tone of Dominique’s voice. She has a robust, soulful quality to her vocals that is quite rare amongst the present generation of singers. Combine that with her conviction and confidence and I sense we have just witnessed a truly special talent.
