It may be summer the world over, but nowhere was hotter than the 2019 Wireless Festival in London this weekend.

The annual extravaganza, which once again returned to Finsbury Park for a three-day run, was attended by a record-breaking 135,000 and played host to performances from the likes of Travis Scott, Future, Tory Lanez, Rae Sremmurd, Ella Mai, Migos, and Megan Thee Stallion. Justin Bieber and Ed Sheeran have collaborated multiple times in the past (as the latter’s credited with penning Bieber hits ‘Cold Water,’ ‘Love Yourself’,’ and more), but their first official collaboration in duet form came courtesy of the new single, ‘I Don’t Care.’

Although greeted with much fanfare – a feat evidenced by its record-breaking streams on Spotify (click here to read more) – the tune was unable to unseat the Hot 100’s longtime leader, Lil Nas X‘s ‘Old Town Road,’ and instead made an impressive #2 debut on this week’s refreshed chart.  Billboard reports ‘Care’ cracked the chart’s upper rankings with digital song sales of 77,000 alongside handsome streaming and radio play figures.  And, while the combined sum of activity did not help them dethrone ‘Road,’ it did help Bieber extend another one of his many Hot 100 records. According to the Music Bible:

Bieber extends his mark for the most No. 2 [debuts] on the Hot 100 to four. He previously opened at the runner-up spot with “Boyfriend” (April 14, 2012), “Sorry” (Nov. 14, 2015) and “Cold Water” (Aug. 13, 2016). Of those songs, “Sorry” went on to hit No. 1 (for three weeks).

As we extend congratz to Bieber, look inside to see who joins him in the top 25 on this week’s TGJ Chart Check: Hot 100 edition:
