Ashanti began filming the video for her new single ‘The Way That I Love You’ in Los Angeles yesterday. She looks great. I’m hoping the song does well, because it has ‘HIT’ written all over it IMO.

This song is a MAJOR hit! I cannot see how anyone calls the song generic. She is great at what she does and she is very stylish and gorgeous. I love the song already. I can’t wait to see the video. Stop the hatin!

lol, this song is hopefully a hit for her because unlike the others she is actually filming a video for it; therefore, she can’t say it was just something to throw out there, know damn well it was meant to be a single.

That dress is a eye catcher. It almost looks an unproffessional designer made this dress. I hope she’s wearing this dress as apart of her character in the video and not to represent her own fashion style. I can’t wait to see the video and for the song to heavily impact radio stations. Good music is good music, so even if the video is horrible, I’ll still support the song, because “The Way That I Love You” is the best I’ve ever heard from Ashanti. Unlike most songs/singles release in the 21st century this song has depth, quailty, wholeness, meaning. If promoted right, this song could easily be number one on the Hot R&B and Hip Hop Charts. lol Enough about the song back to the pics – Ashanti looks good and the dress looks ok.

The piano loop by LT Hutton is hot and her writing is on point as usual (listen to the awesome writing on her first album if you disagree and then STF) especially the part where she says “and after all this love that we made I know now you don’t love me the saaame!”. This song is hot, “Switch” and “Hey Baby (After The Club)”, this deserves to be a success unlike those two.

I’m a huge fan of the song. I see Ashanti doin’ it big with this one. Her last album Concrete Rose was def underrated. Hopefully with the right promo and fair radio airplay Ashanti will get back on top
