New Song: Day26 – ‘Come In’
Yet more material from Making The Band 4’s Day26 has surfaced. Produced by The Runners, ‘Come In’ – a cut from their forthcoming album – is, production-wise, is very solid track. From the beat, to the vocal arrangement, to the harmonies, the song production is top-notch. be it vocally, emotionally or whatever, there is a lack of cohesion with the guys’ voices on the verses which hinders, what would otherwise be, a great song. Still, their self-titled debut (due March 25th) is one of the LP’s I’m looking forward to this year.Hit or Miss?

It’s not great, I think diddy is making a mistake by releasing them so early. There’s no connection to the music, they don’t sound cohesive at all. It doesn’t matter if you have all the talent in the world, if you’re not comming together it doesn’t matter. I think they need a lot of work. I still haven’t heard a track that I’m crazy over.

This song is hot. If the whole album sounds like this I will be getting it.

This gets a 4.5 out of 10. It started off so nice (full of potential,) then ended miserable. Those harmonies are so cute, I’ve got to give it up to them for effort, because they are “trying” to make good music. But the truth is, that’s not Grade A music. The harmonies are sung too low, the lyrics are very corny, the instrument and vocals don’t compliment each other at all. The production is too light (for the type of song it’s supposed to be) and it’s SO UNCONVINCING. (If they were singing that to me, I wouldn’t pay them any attention.) From everything I’ve heard for them so far, I definitely WILL NOT be purchasing their album. Sorry guys, maybe next time. Master the art of music then give it another try. (I’d love to write a song for them.)

They still have a lot of work to do. I think Puffy is pushing them out to fast. I love thier break out song from last year,” Exclusive” was hot, thier vocals were together, but right now is a time for them to work on the group. Good luck. I exspect better. Bad Puffy.
