Prince is sounding funky again and that’s a good look for him, it shows real promise. I don’t want to jump on the bandwagon, but I like Beginning Endlessly too. That is the strongest clip out of the three. I wish him the best!
Prince is years ahead of anyone else on the radio and he is a musical God! He’s keeping the music Funky and real and not selling out. Real music for real music people. Real instruments and real Funk.

Musical prodigy? Yes…but frankly, after 15 years of his weak embarrassing releases I owe him nothing…not even my attention.
The snippets of the new tracks sound lame. Somewhere along the way (1990 or so) Prince decided he had rather be a media personality, instead of a musician, and the resulting musical releases have suffered for it. He’s not hungry anymore, and obviously he feels that he has nothing to prove. Maybe he doesn’t—but why go to the trouble of destroying the legacy with thrown-together, half efforts?
On a side topic, if the truth were told, the vault is empty—it was a myth. If the tunes there were everything they’ve been claimed to be, why would he do this, when he could do that? Prove me wrong.
GLAD HE IS KEEPING IT OLD SCHOOL & FUNKY. HE HAS DIE-HARD FANS THAT WILL SUPPORT HIM, ESPECIALLY WHEN HE IS TRUE TO HIS SIGNATURE SOUND AND THAT’S WHAT THESE SAMPLES ARE.
PRINCE IS WITHOUT QUESTION THE MOST TALENTED COMPOSER/ MUSICIAN IN RECENT HISTORY, HE IS A MASTER OF HIS CRAFT. BE IT DIGITAL OR ACCUSTIC HE IS A MUSICIAN’S MUSICIAN.MUCH RESPECT IS DO TO PRINCE AND ALL THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN A PART OF HIS BANDS. SO IF YA CANT PLAY AN INSTRUMENT OR SING IN KEY (sing well),stfu and be greatful u lived to see such talent.
“Compassion doesn’t sound like much, but the other two sound interesting. I see he is doing retro. Gotta admit, I like the retro sound more that the lyrics. But all in all, I guess I look forward to his new piece of work. Too bad here in the states we don’t get the freebie.
