Published: Thursday 12th Jan 2012 by Rashad

With just a month to the day left before the 54th annual Grammy Awards, ‘Moment 4 Life‘ maestra Nicki Minaj sees her name not only on the nominee list but also leading the lineup.  Taking to their official Twitter page moments ago, the Grammys unveiled:

Up for 3 awards (including Best New Artist), Minaj welcomes the news days before the reported unleash of her highly anticipated visual for ‘Stupid Hoe’ – one of two leading singles from her Valentine’s Day release ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded’.

Keep it locked to That Grape Juice as more performers are rolled out for the star-studded showing set to air February 12 only on CBS!

If she wants to use this as promo she needs to sing “Super Bass” or something Poppy that will have its sales boosted by the performance.

    Don’t ruin this exposure NICKI!

Congratulations Nicki but DON’T F*** THIS UP!

This is the Grammy’s and the entire world will be watching you to see what the contemporary female rapper looks like this- rock a big pink wig, rock a hideous outfit but give the vocal performance of your life.

If it means hiring an orchestra to perform Here I Am or Catch me live do that- if it means you hire a spaceship to perform VA Va Voom do that, if it means being a total b**** to all the Grammy staff to ensure they get your lighting staging etc perfect then do that.

The fact that you have achieved this proves one thing, haters can hate on you all day long but if you go hard and strive for the best with pure intentions NOBODY can deny your success.

    Well done mama!

I’m all for supporting and promoting Black entertainers, but she needs to step her game up.

Her performances do not reflect the quality of Black entertainment that is expected. Beyonce, Usher, Michael Jackson, Chris brown, Tina Turner, Monica, Jill Scott, Patti Labelle, Ray Charles, Fantasia, Stevie Wonder (along with many others) are examples of high quality black entertainment.

Note: I love me some Brandy, but she also needs to step her game up as far as bringing the heat during her performances.

This Is Just Going To Be DREADFUL ! 😉 Putting All DISLIKE Aside Nicki’s Live Performances Are TERRIBLE IMO. I Mean Come On What Type Of Rapper LIP SYNCS ?!
Anyways The Grammys Have LOST Their CREDITIBLITY A LONG Time Ago And Their Using Nicki For Ratings ! Hopefully They Will Let Only TALENTED Win To Regain Some Credibility 🙂

Sorry but the grammy’s this year is gonna suck face real bad. There’s no real talent performing that will have my interest, well maybe Chris Brown because he always gives a good performance. Since Adele’s voice is still under Dr.’s care, Beyonce just had her baby no need for me to tune in unless they get some talent’s that haven’t been a performing at the Grammy’s like Monica, Brandy

It was the dragging heard ’round the world. Earlier today, R&B firecracker K. Michelle popped ALL THE WAY OFF on comedienne/‘The Real’ hostess Loni Love and ‘The Breakfast Club’ DJ Angela Yee for raising the topic of Yee’s year-old heated interview with the ‘Can’t Raise a Man’ singer.  A heated interview, mind you,… Read More
