The last few years have been a whirlwind of sorts R&B star Brandy, a fact she has chosen to capture on the title of her hotly anticipated new album.

While performing at Los Angeles’ Factory Nightclub tonight, the 33 year old revealed that her 6th studio album (her RCA debut) is titled:
Two/Eleven (2/11)
Later confirming the news of Twitter, The Game actress also revealed that the LP will arrive June this year.
Seemingly a random set of numbers, they are in actuality the singer’s date of birth and the date her idol and friend Whitney Houston passed onto eternity.

I Love The album title. Its her Date of Birth, Its the day she will carry Whitney forward. It covers the Great Days and Horrid Days. It will be a day she will never forget… IVE Always Loved Brandys Subtley with her album titles. SHe’s MY Favorite for eternity.

Are you kidding me? Brandy makes promises all the time, and never keeps them! That should be the title! “Promises I don’t keep”.. And the publicity stunt of using 2/11 as the album name? Whitney Houstons death? Brandy birthday? Duet with Monica ” it all belongs to me”? All her fans crying for brandy to feel better when Whitney died? This album is another flop! It’s not even finished and she has a release date? She wants to bring back old school R&B but keep it current? Is she suppose to revolutionize music now? The Game is over, stick to acting and save yourself the embarrassment of a flop album! Take note of the single she just did….

The past few interviews I’ve seen with Brandy are HILARIOUS! I love her personality and she keeps it 100% real. I actually really really really like the album title and concept. It makes a lot of sense and what a coincidence with those numbers. People are really gonna feel it! I can’t wait for it!

I hate that title; Human was supposed to be Brandy’s last somber album. The title seems gimmicky even though I understand her connection to Whitney. She should have had a title way before now. Brandy needs to stand out not stand behind a legend and her legacy. Why is this album being pushed back again?! What more is there to do? I do hope that she records a song to replace that It All Belongs to Me crap. As a fan I’m so frustrated with Brandy right now.

if you are a real fan you should be a fan ALL THE TIME. I love the title/concept and she is one of the only artist out trying to do real R&B/quality music, so I will always support my B-rocka! i’m a huge Brandy fan. i love her!!!! i don’t like the album title, BUT Brandy always does great music. she is one of the artist that i continued to listen to because when i got older, my taste in music changed. i can’t stand sexed up R&B and Brandy doesn’t do music like that. i’m so happy that she doesn’t. she does the kind of music that i like so i keep supporting her. i’m glad she’s still doing music.
