If a major hint given by Epic Records is anything to believe, the above line is a lyric pulled from Ciara‘s new single ‘Sorry‘.
Set for release on August 20th, her label set Twitter alight with a lyrics to the song presented as a letter addressed to ‘You’.

With her campaign nothing short of faultless, there’s no reason ‘OWA’ can’t be Ciara’s most groundbreaking album to date.
Our only hope that is that in an age where choreography as intense as Ciara’s is oft unappreciated, she learns to ‘pedestrianize’ her stage performances to reach the audiences Rihanna and Co. stay dominating.
By no means are we saying she ‘dumbs’ her choreography down, but we are hoping she takes a leaf out of Paula Abdul’s book and serve moves that are intricate without being impossible to recreate.

With two flop albums and a lukewarm recievement of sweat I honestly wonder if the general public is still checking for ciara .. No shade but no one is really that hyped but her stans .. Her promo needs to be ON POINT! Hooking up with la reid almost guareetess her a performance spot on x factor so that is going to be a very good look but they need to keep her face out there! She’ll be fine. I don’t really understand this whole horrible OWA campaign like you are talking about thou. I mean… she leaked 1 single. It was never released to iTunes, there was no preview to the video nothing. It was clear that even thou not directly communicated to the fans & the public, that they had scarpped the single & had other plans. No shade to Brandy or Kelly Rowland (love them both), but poorly handled would be like Brandy, she released “Put It Down” as a download @ the end of March,the preview video came out a few weeks ago,& the video is just about to release & it’s about the mid of August, that’s almost 5 months later. That’s a poorly handled campaign. Or like Kelly Rowland, her song leaked on the net like at the end of June, she knew it leaked to because as soon as it did she tweeted about it on twitter, 2 weeks ago we get the single artwork for it, video isn’t out, no preview video, & she has not spoke on any plans on the single.
& on the Paula note, like somebody said, dance-wise: Ciara >> Paula abdul. Like Beyonce, you don’t see Beyonce tryna break her neck while dancing, yes the woman can dance her butt off, but she thinks smartly about what choreo to do in her videos, so when she hits the stage she can match that & give a full performance: vocals, dancing, stage presence, & interacting with the crowd. This is thing performers think about. Paula Abdul is not a singer, she is a lip syncer, so her choreo can be hard as she wants to because she’s not trying to leave room to sing. Whether people admit it or not, Ciara’s a singer too, not a strong Ciara, but she definitely has enough range to carrier her as a performer/entertainer in the pop world, she singles live unlike a lot of her “competition.”
