Last year saw Kelly Rowland dominate Urban radio with mega-selling ’Motivation’. Now, with new cut ‘Ice’ shaping up to do the same, the Destiny’s Child graduate had unwrapped new promotional shots for its housing album.
Due early next year, the LP features production from the likes of Rodney ‘Darkchild’ Jerkins, Rico Love, Da Internz, Sean Garrett, Lonny Bereal, T. Mills. and more.
Presently without an announced title, Rowland has been tweeting the letters #YOTW for the last few weeks. Hmm…

Hmmm, can’t really disagree there. Rihanna managed 4 (if not 5) certified singles of TTT and that went uncovered by TGJ, but kelly has 1 Platinum single and she’s onto a “mega-seller” (after “We Found Love” went 4 X Platinum)?
“Here I Am” was “Where Am I” and was a commercial embarrassment. It’s only saving grace being “Motivation” wasn’t so great as Kelly had to sell sex to get a hit and “glue” Lil’ Wayne on it…
“Ice” has melted into a puddle of water and needs to evaporate. These pics don’t match what she tried to do with that single.

I said the EXACT same thing last year! Considering her reconciliation with LeToya and La Tavia, independence from Mathew Knowles, subsequent fall out with Bey and Michelle due to that and her experiences since including her relationship with her dad. But all we got was “Motivation”, “I’m That Chick” and “Down For Whatever”. Artists with no depth hit shallow sales.

Well, at least she’s wearing clothes this time and that’s great to see, Klassy Kelly Kool!
I’m not sure if the rigidity and angular-ness of the logo matches the classic-ness of the clothes she’s wearing. She did say Motown has influenced this era though so well see if this is the beginning of it.
As for the website…looks ok, a bit bland and I hate to say…BEYONCE’S IS BETTER!
Oh well, wigs and heels won’t sell music nor bring sales so as Kelly doesn’t rely on those hopefully she’ll BRING the music AND the voice! Hopefully Donna Summer and Whitney’s deaths have inspired her to make music worthy of her predecessors respect.

I’m sorry but although i loved Motivation and purchased the last album it was dire apart from one other song. Then she had the ordasity to release dry ice which was basically a poor mans motivation from the same artist. I dont really care for the pretty pictures…. for that make a 2013 calender, the music needs to be decent and so if ice is the direction its not looking good.

She’s on Luda’s new single, Big Boi’s new single, & Sean Paul’s single featuring her will debut its video here soon. Ice is doin well on the charts so imagine if there was a video.
