When it comes to selling Rap music on a global scale, very few do it better than ‘OVO‘ frontman Drake.
That fact, albeit obvious, was proved once more in the UK tonight when his new single ‘Started From The Bottom’ went a long way to prove just how powerful his brand of authentic Hip Hop is in today’s market.

Less than a week after the release of its video, the Zombie produced cut stormed the Official Charts when it rose by a mind blowing 46 spots- securing the #25 position.
Holding tight at #71 last week, the song’s meteoric rise comes just two weeks after its release, marking the biggest and fastest jump from any act in this week’s chart. Impressive, considering the fact it has been able to achieve this on the basis of momentum generated online- a testament to his wide reaching appeal.
The good news doesn’t end there.
By way of fan support, the cut now holds the #5 spot spot on the UK’s Urban Chart, while excitement surrounding the release of his new LP has seen his Lil Wayne led ‘Love Me’ rise a cool 18 spots to land the #27 spot, after just three weeks.
Meanwhile over at the albums chart, his 2011 smash hit album ‘Take Care‘ has crept back in the Top 20 after 66 weeks of release claiming the #14 position, while his debut album ‘Thank Me Later‘ rises by the same amount to sit pretty at #32…after 136 weeks on the chart.

Remember when You, Rita ora nation and others said that when Rita Ora drops ‘ Radioactive’ she will set the world alight. They said it is her ‘ WE FOUND LOVE ‘ . You were even bragging that it was number 40 on itunes . Well, radioactive was officially released on the 10th feb. It peaked at……………………………………NUMBER 18.
Pitiful.
Though this girl was the A list in the UK? Shine ya light scraped into the top 10 and Radioactive, written by Sia peaked at 18. Why does this flop whore keep releasing singles?

Sam is having a terrible week: first, beyonce makes her self look desperate and gets slammed by critics. Then, Rih keeps slaying like ABC, now Rita Whora so called We found love AKA radioactive peaks at 18.
This was the song she went to record with Sia; everyone said it was her best ever song. I knew better! I knew it would flop. I said her voice just does not stand out and the beat rides her, versus the other way around. Then, you had that cheap crappy music video that was filmed in 4 hours. I am good at calling the music industry……TRUST me: beyonce and rita whora will flop, the latter will be dropped.
YOU ARE GOING TO SEE HOW IT ALL PLAYS WITHIN THE NEXT WEEKS AND MONTHS.

If I was an A & R flop, I would take many of the songs, beyonce bought from that Dirty Flop, who spends more time sleeping around, partying with her ” wifey ” and walking in clothes she raided from Rih rated closet. she did not write the songs, so she has no ownership and this biz is about making money, so it is time to give the song to SOMEONE WHO MAKES MONEY.

This is teh 2nd heavily promoted Rita Whora song that has failed to chart in the UK top 10? WELL? Explanation please! Also, Mu cuz said in the UK, they are back wasting money running TV commercial to push her flop LP which has only scraped 300k – most was due to the discounts.
