Also, some dates in the US have been reported as sold out, yet the media reported that they were still seats available. When you compare her sold out show to other shows in the same venue, its questionable. Kudos to live nation trying for reporting the figures. While beyonce has nothing to prove, so it doesn’t matter if her tour is sold out or not.

In London he played four nights at the O2 Arena (Oct. 10-12, 14) with the number of sold tickets just under 57,000. Rihanna takes the second slot on this week’s Hot Tours tally with sales reported from the final nine weeks of her Diamonds world tour that ended on Nov. 15. Located in the Chinese territory of Macau, the 15,000-seat arena logged an attendance total of 24,872 from performances on Sept. 13 and 14. When you strip down Rihanna, you see all her weakness. She is not the best performer, she has some of the best songs. As a Caribbean performer, she is not that good, because we ten to be explosive, dynamic and all over the place. When you go to a Caribbean show, you rarely sit down, you are jumping and waving. She still has a long way to go before she can be taken seriously, and is has noting to do with her age because Taylor and Justin B have passed her performers. Having confident and being edgy is not enough. The reason I don’t attend her shows is because her shows are unpredictable. I rather buy her singles because they are catchy and up-tempo.

They were reported as sold out and we all know that they weren’t sold out either and she had over 100 000. Look at the capacity for concerts, minus the stage and you will know that 95 000 is not that great for two shows in such a big stadium. Well state de France was impressive. Abu Dhabi numbers were not that impressive either. Even south Africa could have held more but anything over 50000 is reported as sold out because its a great number. Even when you take into consideration the stage. . It s just a strategy. And that goes for Beyonce’s date also. I always look up the stadium capacity.

For example beyonce did not sell out vector arena because the capacity is 11 800 yet Rihanna sold less than 11 200 and they were reported as sold out by billboard but poll star reported that she sold 91% and it had nothing to do with the stage. Its live-nation trying to increase Rihanna % as a touring force.

It’s a weird one, Katy Perry’s ‘music’ is better than Katy Perry’s talent and image would suggest. Same with Taylor Swift, as without decent songs neither would have a career. Rihanna is beautiful and not a great singer either but her music and image is edgy and her songs somewhat authentic and progressive. However, Beyonce’s music is way less sophisticated than her talent and image and hype would suggest; in fact it actually borders on basic. It’s quite easy to understand the conundrum people have with her, everyone who isn’t kinda blinded by the woman herself is still waiting for the actual music to catch up with her.

I have to agree, it never sounds as though they are trying to reinvent the wheel when it comes to Beyonce’s production. I think that’s what keeps the bulk of her work sounding slightly cheap and non-progressive tbh.
The song itself is nice, (I mean it’s no ‘Zion’ by Lauryn Hill but) the sentiment is pleasant nonetheless. However, it never fails to surprise me how someone who seemingly spends so long rehearsing and perfecting every aspect of their live showings is happy to accept such dated and anonymous track production for their songs.
Her and Gaga have this is common with so much attention spent on image, marketing and hype with scant regard for the ‘music’ is supposedly all in aid of.
