Speculation has been rife about the previously untitled track. However, this morning saw the stage blazer not only reveal its title, but its release date too.

With its video already shot, the song itself will make its debut next Thursday – May 29th.

I really hope this single is fire! That’s what she needs. She is completely underrated as a singer and a solo artist. I just want her to come and snatch wigs like I know she can!
Solo Nicole is like a really awkward mix of flop-Christina/flop-JLo/flop-Mariah, wannabe-Rihanna, with a sprinkle of wannabe-Beyonce. She’s all over the place trying to find her sound, throwing meat at the ceiling hoping that SOMETHING sticks, but nothing ever does. Her problem is that after her brief stint with PCD, she expected to blow up immediately and when it didn’t happen she and her team got scared, became unsure and started being either too premature or too late with her sh*t. She needs to just record what she thinks is a good album and release it. Stop trying to pensively search for the “right” songwriter/producer who will give her some surefire smash and combing the market for the “right” time to release it. Take it back to the ol’ school, Adele approach…just put it out and physically promote from there. Stop looking for internet blogs and iTunes to give it the thumbs up.
Her problem is that either she or her team aren’t committed to seeing things through. I recall hearing a few of her songs (specifically “Right There” and “Don’t Hold Your Breath”) getting played on my local stations, but probably because they didn’t skyrocket to the top iTunes and the Hot 100 at warp speed her camp decided that they were flops and just abandoned them despite whatever potential they might’ve had to eventually become hits. That’s the problem with music today in this horrible digital age we’re in, everyone wants instantaneous results and when they don’t get them they wanna stop trying. Nicole is like Brandy, Keyshia and the rest of the R&B chicks, they need better and more aggressive management. Screw the record labels, they just want the bottom line. It’s the representation that’s the most important.
This girl thought she was Beyonce, coming from a girl group, hoging the mic and thought she was gonna have a huge solo career. Go have a baby by a rapper or a sports player, no one breaks in their 30’s.
Her last name bugs me. It’s annoying to type and pronounce. If this were the days of old Hollywood, her agent would have forced her to change it to something easier to digest.
