Kodak Black is back behind bars. And this time, bond is not an option.

The 28-year-old rapper, born Bill K. Karpi, was arrested Thursday in Pompano Beach. Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies booked him on charges of resisting an officer without violence and attempting to flee law enforcement.
His bond? $0.
His attorney, Bradford Cohen, told TMZ that the star “self-surrendered” after another investigation. “It’s not unexpected,” Cohen said. “At this point, I think everyone agrees that Kodak is consistently being targeted.”
This marks his second arrest in eight days.
On May 6, the MC was arrested on a felony charge of trafficking MDMA. That case stems from a November incident in Orlando. Police allegedly found a pink bag containing drugs, $37,000, and items matching Instagram photos posted by the rapper.
He pleaded not guilty on May 7. A judge set bond at $75,000, noting Kodak’s 12 previous felony convictions. He bonded out.
Now he’s back in custody. Two arrests. Two weeks. Zero bond.
Cohen calls the cases “weak” and “unfounded.” Prosecutors clearly disagree.
Another week, another legal headache for the Pompano native.

Kodak is consistently being targeted.
He is an innocent black man, minding his own business, bothering no one.
Non-confrontational.
He is not innocent. His music poisons the community, and adds to jail numbers from all the many black boys who emulate his lifestyle and wind up doing time. They don’t want Kodak off the streets. They need him. He makes big money for the record execs, and the private prison industry.
