The R&B icon was spotted beaming at Fairmont Century Plaza at the Black Music Collective’s fourth annual Recording Academy Honors on Thursday night (January 29) – a GRAMMY week event that stormed Los Angeles just days before Music’s Biggest Night on February 2.
One of the night’s three big honorees (alongside Pharrell Williams and Kirk Franklin), Brandy was on hand to receive the Black Music Icon Award to celebrate her 30-plus-year career showcasing “artistry, innovation and service that has shaped the industry and inspired generations around the world.”
