On the eve of her debut album’s 20th anniversary, ‘Can’t Take Me Home’ hitmaker P!nk is urging fans to stay home to help flatten the curve of the coronavirus pandemic after testing positive for the disease two weeks ago.

In a surprising announcement lifted to Instagram late Friday (April 3), the Grammy winner (born Alecia Moore) revealed she and her three-year-old son, Jameson, were examined after exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 – a measure that resulted in confirmation she had contracted it.

Assuring fans she is now coronavirus-free after following doctor’s orders, Moore’s lengthy social media post also saw her announce a $500,000 donation to the Philadelphia hospital where her mother was employed for nearly 20 years.

The music realm continues to reel at news of R&B/Soul icon Bill Withers‘ passing.

As his songs ‘Lean On Me,’ ‘Ain’t No Sunshine,’ ‘Lovely Day,’ and more are listed on the soundtrack to many lives, it’s only fitting and expected to see a bevy of tributes lifted in his honor.

The Weeknd‘s ‘After Hours’ clocked the year’s highest first week album sales (click here to read more) – a feat that not only nabbed the Billboard 200 crown but also granted a seat atop the Billboard Hot 100 thanks to the LP’s second single, ‘Blinding Lights’ (click here to read more on that)

As if looking down on the competition from the tally’s perch wasn’t enough, the Grammy winner (born Abel Tesfaye) has also set a record for placing every song from the 14-track project within the Hot 100.

By the time 3LW emerged on the scene in the year 2000, Destiny’s Child had solidified its status as one of the world’s highest-selling girl groups and was gearing up to end its first run with the album ‘Survivor’ which dropped in 2001.

Selena Gomez has seen her journey with mental health well-documented, including a highly publicized stint at a treatment facility for depression and anxiety.

Becoming a champion for related causes as a result, the 27-year-old has not shied away from discussing the topic in interviews – a stance reiterated recently when she visited fellow Pop star Miley Cyrus‘ IGTV talk show, ‘Bright Minded,’ on Friday (April 3).

While there, in addition to dishing on a number of topics including her support for healthcare workers and first responders during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, she also revealed she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder.

Alicia Keys has been on a week-long whirlwind promo tour all from the comfort of her home.

Kicking off the week with an appearance on Oprah‘s ‘Super Soul Sunday’ (March 29), the 15-time Grammy winner – building awareness for her recently released memoir, ‘More Myself’ (in stores now), and forthcoming seventh studio album ‘ALICIA’ – was also among headliners for FOX’s ‘iHeart Living Room Concert’ (click here to watch her performance).

Thursday (April 2), Keys took to ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert’ to render a virtual performance of rapper Flo Rida‘s top 2015 hit, ‘My House.’

“This song is dedicated to the moment,” she said. “I have a feeling that we’re all going through a similar thing, so I figured we could break it down like this.”
