J.Cole fans rejoiced yesterday, when first day sales predictions revealed his ‘Born Sinner‘ was to sell no more than 200,000 units less than Kanye West‘s ‘Yeezus‘.

All flavours of epic, considering West’s celebrity and Cole’s standing as Hip Hop’s favorite underdog, this feat should hopefully see the album pushed far beyond heights attained by his ‘Cole World’ debut and go Platinum within the year.

So, perhaps as a thank you for their undying loyalty, Cole surprised his fans with a special guest at last night’s showing of the ‘Dollar & A Dream‘ Tour.

Though she may still be without as US number one album, there’s no denying Rihanna‘s status as one of Pop’s strongest cash shows.

Yet to release an album that didn’t sell a million or more US copies since her sophomore effort, the chart topper’s countless number one singles, tours and endorsement deals have ensured her superiors over at Roc Nation make bank, over…and over and again.

Now, in an interview for GQ Magazine’s ‘Men Of The Year’ edition, she has spoken out on how her lucrative career has made it hard for people to see or perhaps understand her art.

She may be able to rake in the numbers when it comes to moving singles, but it seems Rihanna is struggling to succeed outside of music yet again.

Black men in the music industry have never been hard to find.

In today’s musical climate, there are very few genres of music that haven’t been touched by the black male, from Jay Z and Lil Wayne in the world of Hip Hop, to British boy band JLS in the realms of Pop.

For years, the issue of how black men are portrayed in the music industry has remained a well discussed one.

With even the likes of Rapper Game airing his thoughts on why many of his own contemporaries are presented in a light  contrary to their  actual realities , this is one hot topic very  few have little to say about.

Now we here at That Grape Juice HQ want you to weigh in…

Any doubts surrounding Beyonce‘s hard-working nature were further quelled last night when the superstar was spotted on the set of yet another video. This time it’s ‘4’ fan favourite ‘Party’ which received the visual treatment in a trailer park in New Jersey last night.

Joining the 29 year old on the colourful set were sister Solange and bandmate Kelly Rowland.

The work doesn’t stop there, either. For, industry outlet Video Static has confirmed that a clip for ‘Countdown’ has been commissioned and will be directed by Adria Petty – who took the helm of King B’s ‘Sweet Dreams’ video. If there’s any justice in the world, it’ll be better than that dollar-store effort.

Regardless, it’s great to see Ms. Knowles shooting clips for all the ‘right’ songs (word has it ‘End of Time’ has or will be shot too). Begging the question: just what is she cooking up behind the scenes? Whatever the case, it looks like ‘4’ has much mileage to go.

The video for Trina‘s brand new single ‘Million Dollar Girl’ surfaced a few moments ago. You can check out the Gil Green directed clip, which features Diddy and Keri Hilson, above…

Pretty standard-fare in that it’s more or less glamour shot after glamour shot. That said, both Trina and Keri looked great. The Diddy feature should garner the song some more interest too. Here’s hoping the song/video does big things for the self-proclaimed Baddest B*tch.

‘Million Dollar Girl’ is lifted from Trina’s forthcoming LP ‘Amazin’, which is due in stores on May 4th.
