Likening her ongoing battle with the imprint to ‘slavery’ and continued plight and fight of ‘Warrior’ singer Ke$ha, B-Rocka has rocked headlines all year for her back and forth legal battles with Chameleon and its president Breyon Prescott (who claimed the legal drama was a “desperate ploy for publicity”).

Now, after months of silence on the matter, the Grammy-winner – via a show-stopping 9-minute performance at this year’s ‘Soul Train Awards’ – sent the audience into a roar when she emphatically announced ‘Brandy Freed!’

The proclamation sent fans buzzing that new music is on the way…

The Soul Train Awards 2016 aired moments ago.

Like previous years, this installment of the annual extravaganza paid homage to the achievements of the industry’s brightest R&B and Hip-Hop stars.

Hosted by Erykah Badu, the event (which was shot earlier this month at the Las Vegas Orleans Arena) saw performances from the likes of Brandy, India Arie, Dru Hill, Teddy Riley, Ro James, and many more.

Shemar Moore’s contentious departure from ‘Criminal Minds’ has given the actor the time and space to focus on new projects.

What he’s been up to during said time? ‘The Bounce Back‘, a romantic comedy set to hit theatres on December 9th.

Kylie Minogue is getting in on the festive action.

Celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ, the seasoned Pop siren has unlocked a brand new Christmas album named ‘Kylie Christmas: Snow Queen Edition.’

On it, the ‘Red Blooded Woman‘ takes on a number of festive classics before she delivers them live at London’s Royal Albert Hall on the 8th, 9th and 10th of December.

Its release has delayed the unveiling of her next studio LP.

I have started work on new material, the way the year’s panned out I won’t have that much time to work on it but my brain’s working overtime. I’m so keen to get what’s in my brain out and turn it into what I hear in my head, make that a reality. So new music is really, consistently on my mind. I’ve opened the door and stepped into the room but I’ve yet to spend as much time there as I look.
