Sam Smith is pounding the promotional pavement in support of new album ‘The Thrill Of It All’ (due November 3rd).

The crooner’s latest stop was Beats 1 radio, where he sat down with Zane Lowe to chat about a whole host of topics.

During their insightful interview, the 25-year-old Brit opened up about the hurdles he faced writing ‘Thrill,’ reconciling his new found fame, coming out as gay “twice,” Beyonce, and much more.

Rita Ora is EMA bound!

As reported, the media maven has been tapped to host the 2017 MTV Europe Awards, which is taking place in her hometown of London on November 12th.

In a bid to make the gig a major one, the 26-year-old will also be hitting the stage to perform what has today been confirmed as her new single ‘Anywhere.’

Yesterday, the star shot the track’s accompanying video in New York City.

Filmed at six different locations (including Times Square), Ora paired each scene with a stunning look.

The visual follows ‘Your Song’ as the latest taste of her new album – her first since leaving Roc Nation and signing with Atlantic Records.

Toni Braxton is celebrating her 50th birthday early with the debut of the video for ‘Deadwood.’

The scintilating single is the first to be taken from the legend’s album ‘Sex & Cigarettes’ – which is her first solo body of work in seven years.

Longtime collaborator Billie Woodruff directs the monochrome clip, which finds Braxton sad but resilient.

Not even legal action was enough to assist Bobby Brown‘s bid to block TV One’s unauthorized biopic on his late daughter, Bobbi Kristina.

As we reported here, the ‘Don’t Be Cruel’ singer – much like the entire Houston estate – openly disapproved of the forthcoming flick, even taking to the courts with a $2 million defamation lawsuit to get the made-for-TV movie (starring Vivica A. Fox, Demetria McKinney, and more) taken off the channel’s programming schedule ahead of its October 8th premiere.

Releasing holiday albums, especially this far ahead of the “official kick off” of the holiday season, comes as quite the double edged sword.  While on one end, music lovers are given enough time to familiarize themselves with your take on Christmas classics  by the time the Christmas season hits, the glaring, most end is the limitation of where you’ll promote the record during its release week (as TV viewers aren’t exactly ready to hear ‘Silent Night’ and ‘Rocking Around the Christmas Tree’ before Halloween).

Alas, this is the challenge soulstress Fantasia and ska potentate Gwen Stefani are ready to face with their respective festive offerings…
