As previously reported, Kelly Rowland has teamed up with drinks giant Pepsi for a brand new visual album.

Titled ‘Pepsi Beats Of The Beautiful Game’, the project celebrates the upcoming Brazil World Cup and sees a video accompany each track of the compilation – which also features contributions from the likes of Rita Ora and Janelle Monae.

Ms. Kelly’s effort, which premiered today, is aptly christened ‘The Game’ and will be paired with a video shot by iconic director Spike Lee.

One look at the first week sales forecast for Mariah Carey‘s new album and it’s clear the diva is in dire need of promotion.

Indeed, the set – which has been christened ‘Me. I Am Mariah…The Elusive Chanteuse’ – has been elusive in the minds of the masses, with only 55,000 units likely to be sold by the week’s end.

As such, the 44-year-‘s NBC Home Concert Special -which aired yesterday- arrived right on time.

Even better, ol’ Mimi actually sounded good performing classic ‘We Belong Together’ and newer numbers ‘Heavenly’ and ‘Money’.

As reported here, media mogul Oprah Winfrey continues her reignited foray into film with the production of a new Martin Luther King, Jr. based biopic.

Titled ‘Selma,’ the Ava DuVernay-directed film is set to chronicle MLK’s historic voting rights campaign that included the 1965 march to Selma, AL. Produced by Oprah and Brad Pitt‘s Plan B, the pic is already set to star Winfrey, rapper CommonTom Wilkinson, Martin Sheen, and will now see the ‘Queen of Talk’ reunite with her ‘The Butler’ co-star Cuba Gooding, Jr.

Tapped to play famed civil rights attorney and activist Fred Gray, the Academy Award-winner is the latest to join the growing cast.  As of time reporting, the Paramount Pictures’ film has no projected release date.

After weeks of teasers, ‘Snatch the Cat Back’ belle Khia returns with a full view of the visual to her latest single ‘You Deserve It.’  After one peek, however, we’ve determined that the only thing we “deserve” is the ability to snatch back the minutes we used watching it.

Shambolic at best, the song and clip’s intentions are to show the triple chalk dust-certified diva as a multifaceted rapstress who can depart from her usual brew of sexually explicit lyrics to perform softer, R&B driven melodies.  Despite missing the mark completely, we still want to give an A for effort.

Indeed, the R&B fab foursome are making their triumphant return with ‘Hope,’ the lead single from their forthcoming new album ‘J.E. Heartbreak Too.’

Written by Bryan Michael Cox and the group’s lead singers, Brian and Brandon Casey, the song sees the group return to the very Jagged Edge formula that took them to the perch of R&B charts with his like ‘Promise’ and ‘Walked Out of Heaven.’

Now, as the prepare the sequel to their hit 2000 disc ‘J.E. Heartbreak,’ the quartet hope you remember exactly why you fell in love with them in the first place.

The “Mistress of All Evil” seems to be scaring away all of the competition if reports are to believed.

That Grape Juice originally reported that the Angelina Jolie-led live action take on the story of ‘Sleeping Beauty’ villain ‘Maleficent’ was set to rule the box office with a whopping $60 million generated over its debut weekend.

The prediction, based solely on the movie’s premiere day performance, has now been adjusted upward as fans surge to theaters to see Jolie’s first film in four years.  Now, as the family flick continues to work its magic on moviegoers, reports have surfaced that the Academy Award-winner has been tapped to portray ancient Egyptian queen Cleopatra in a forthcoming film.

Despite February’s reports that the show had been renewed for a season 2, news circulated tonight that Arsenio Hall’s CBS rebooted talk show will not see it.

The show, which boasted impressive ratings upon the debut of its inaugural season, quickly saw a drop in viewership as the year progressed.  Not even a roster of high profile guests in the form of Eddie Murphy, Jay Leno, and more could save the late nite ship from sinking…
