If its leading singles ‘I Can’t Describe’ ft. T.I. and ‘Walk It Out’ ft. Timbaland are anything to judge by, Jennifer Hudson‘s long-awaited third album ‘JHUD’ is well on its way to much deserved critical acclaim.

With hopes of ensuring commercial success to match, Hudson continues to roll out a promo campaign that will see her hit up many-a-major outlet and function in support of the project – including the 2014 Fashion Rocks.  But, before she rocks the stage with the likes of Usher, Nicki Minaj, and more, she continues to tease her September 23rd due release by revealing its full official track list.

We couldn’t be any more ready for September 23rd!

In addition to getting our hands on the latest records from TGJ-favorites Lady Gaga, Jennifer Hudson, and Michelle Williams, we will finally get to jam out to the long-awaited official debut album of crooner Luke James.

Just a day after sending fans into a frenzy by unveiling the covers to the self-titled project, the N’awlins native unwrapped the ever-sensual accompanying visual to his new single Dancing In The Dark.’  Featuring a not-so-clothed James, the Prince-inspired song and video come as the latest lifts from his debut LP which features production from the likes of Danja,  Kadis & Sean, The Alliance, Salaam Remi, and more.

Talk about going in and out with a bang!

Lily and Julianna were playing approximately no games with this cover and we’re not mad at them for it.  Soaring vocals, melisma executed with passion and precision, and last, but not least, the injection of their own personalities helped make this an enjoyable watch.

To cover a song delivered by the likes of powerhouses Jessie J and Ariana Grande is certainly no easy task, but these ladies stepped up to the plate.  Bravisimo!

On September 30th 2014 Elijah Blake will unlock his new EP ‘Drift‘, the follow-up to 2012’s ‘Bijoux 22.’

Tasked with selling the project on iTunes once it drops, the Grammy-winning singer/songwriter teased the release by teasing one of the numbers that will appear on it…a haunting cut named ‘Strange Fruit.’

After seeing her rap skills rubbished by Hip Hop hero Common, Iggy Azalea faced fresh shade by members of the online community once they got their hands of footage pulled from her on stage with singer Jennifer Lopez.

What went down?

While performing in Chicago, Lopez called Iggy on stage to perform their number ‘Actin’ Like That’ only to see the performance ridiculed by all who saw it.
