Several weeks ago we reported that Taio Cruz had recorded a remix to hit smash hit single ‘Dynamite’ with new label-mate Jennifer Lopez. However, many were left scratching their heads when Lopez was a no show in Cruz’s video for the song, which turned out to be for the original.
In any case, the remix has finally surfaced (literally moments ago). Take a listen after the jump…
Yes! Already a home-run of track, Lopez brought a fresh energy to the song – unsurprising as uptempo’s are her undeniably her forte. One can only hope that that a video for the remix is still plausible, although with the original having peaked it may be unlikely. Either way, great remix.
Tidbit: The computer wizardry on Ms. Jenny’s long-note (2.35-2.39) was hilarity personified.

i mean, jlo’s creativity was nill…she followed the beat hook/catchiness of the song to a tee…A bit unoriginal, tho it is quite catchy.
I say “miss” just because the remix added nothing to the song.

It sounds like she did this alone in her basement. They should’ve atleast written different lyrics for her to sing. There’s no point to this remix because the original has already hit its peak on the radio and this terrible remix probaly wont get any spins.

Ok. When I think of the word “peaked” I think…moving on to the next single or ending an era. This song has a 1800+ bullet on Pop radio & seems to be heading to #1 on Top 40. It’s this weeks greatest gainer in overall airplay. So it has surely, far from peaked.
This ‘remix’ seems like a decent strategy, to at least, garner some more digital sales to reach #1 on the Hot 100.

Her voice really sucks. You can definitely tell that they auto tuned the hell outta her voice! Her voice is so high, weak, and abrasive! She really is a terrible singer! She sounds like someone who is singing to this song while she’s driving in the car. It’s weird and pathetic of her to be recording nonsense music like this, especially when she’s in her 40s!
