While fans eagerly await the announcement of the song’s feature, it’s pretty safe to say that we at TGJ are more than hyped for the latest offerings from the ‘Full Moon’ maestra. Here’s hoping she’s cooking up a monster record that will rightfully she her placed back atop charts.
The new single will be the beginning of many Brandy ventures fans can look forward to for the latter part of the year. Due to feature on VH1′s long-running documentary ‘Behind The Music’ (this month), the singer is also reportedly contemplating a Christmas album for late 2012 release. Additionally, B-rocka is set to appear on the big screen in Tyler Perry‘s ‘The Marriage Counselor’ in March 2013.

The new single features Chris. The producer already confirmed it on twitter & said the song should be released to radio soon.
She was so cute in this interview! All giggly and excited! I’m so eager to hear new music from her and the fact that she worked with my fave is just added bonus!! I’m not thrilled that Chris is supposed to be rapping on it though! I really want to hear their SINGING voices together and that’s IT! I don’t know what it is with him and this rappin kick he’s on lately! He just won’t stop! Ugh!
Anywho, I just hope that Brandy is able to bring a new sound to the table and stay true to her roots at the same time! I don’t want her to come forth with some stale boring ass r&b tracks like Monica. Excited to here new music from her either way!

Battleship’ Goes To War Overseas: #1 Almost Every Country Where It Opened
It was an unorthodox, even daring, strategy for Universal to open Battleship internationally more than a month before it debuts May 18th in North America. But it may pay off. My sources project the film should steam past $300M foreign box office based on stats. Also, as the film prepares to open internationally Friday in a total 26 territories (40 countries) and then rolls to another 24 territories including big guns Russia and China, any fears that a rah-rah-USA patriotic film in 2D might not do well overseas have been allayed.
– The movie opened in Australia today and Battleship is #1 with an early estimate of $1.1M for the day, which is at the same level as Iron Man and Thor and twice as big as John Carter, and three times as big as Wrath Of The Titans
– In Southeast Asia, where extravagant sci-fi appeals to local audiences, Battleship is “dominating the box office with Korea leading the pack,” I’m told. Hong Kong, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand also had a very strong showing. In each of those countries, Batttleship opened to #1.
– In Korea, Battleship opened to $2.8M – the third biggest opening day of all time for an English language film. That’s behind only Transformers 3 and Shrek 3 even though Battleship is an original film which usually takes longer to gain traction overseas than sequels. It’s also the biggest opening for an English language non-sequel in Korea ever.
– Preview results in the UK were very strong. Battleship grossed $1.5M (£928K) for the day. As a comp, previews for Thor in the UK were £730K and Iron Man £670K. There’s another day of previews today before opening officially on Friday.
– France opened with $870K including previews. Battleship opened bigger than Hunger Games, John Carter and Wrath Of Titans.
– Belgium opened #1 with $132k, which is the biggest opening day of 2012.

Go Brann! Go Brann!. Yess i so the tease on twitter. She better serve something like Piano Man. I hope the album is as compact as full moon with plenty of classic stuff to feed our hungry ears. I also would like it to have some edgyness of Afrodisiac and forwardness of Human.
#Tip: she better be a smart businesswoman on this one. She should cross over to pop if she wants that number one single. One thing i know is the bulky of the music buying group is 30 and below who are all hypocrites so to speak. They cheer up artists during interviews who hint that they be going back to their r n b roots. But when they release r n b, they jus ignore it and move on to the next dance pop release.
All that said, i am happy my fav is gaining momentum
