I take my time and blah, blah, blah…..at first with the snippets, i was very excited, then….i listen the whole album, i would say this without any intent of insult Rihanna and the Navy, so don’t get mad.
The album miss a hit, haters will be happy, i give her credits for trying something new and not being generic or whatever you want it to call her music and take a risk with this album but she failed to do what an artist do when they usually “take risks” make a masterpiece which is often underappreciated by the masses, this time the Navy will be mad at her but with all their rights, the album lacks the fun factor, catchy songs and quality, i don’t even know what songs she could release as a single, only a miracle could save her from this mess, even the songs that i thought would be good aren’t.
1. “Phresh Out The Runway” (Not good at all)
2. “Diamonds” (Easily the best song in the album)
3. “Numb” (featuring Eminem) [Not even my husband Slim could save this sh*]
4. “Pour It Up” (Ghetto)
5. “Loveeeeeee Song” (featuring Future) [One of the best but is not even good]
6. “Jump” (the most catchy song on the album, still there is something msg)
7. “Right Now” (featuring David Guetta) [Could have been better]
8. “What Now” (This is one of the songs that somehow save the album)
9. “Stay” (featuring Mikky Ekko) [Cute and one of her best vocals IMO]

This song was almost 7 mins long and the first half was great but by the time the second half was happening, I was getting bored. (I need to re-listen to this song though…..maybe I misjudged it) —- No ranking….second listen is needed.

I listened to the whole album (standard version) and needless to say, it was not “it” for me. Remember this is MY perception of the album after listening to it.
1. Phresh off the runway:…………? Do I really need to say anything……….this was ratchet, hood, ghetto, filled with auto-tune from top to bottom. [1/5]
2. Diamonds: I didn’t like it in the beginning (still not a big fan) but after listening to the whole album…..I must say its one of the standouts…….[3/5]
3. Numb: This song takes the cake for the most repetitive Rihanna song (more repetitive that WFL). Slim Shady’s 30seconds rap couldn’t save it. It was one of the more boring tracks on the album…..she basically sang “I’m going numb” almost the whole time. [2.5/5]
4. Pour it up: This song is Rihanna’s second attempt at raping (first being Phresh off the runway) and needless to say it was horrible……….? Again, this is a ratchet, hood, auto-tuned shit. [1/5]
5. Loveeeeee song: This song was okay…..I liked Rihanna’s version, but that guy Future ruined it. I cannot get over his auto-tuned filled version of the song. [3/5]
6. Jump: Originally I thought this song was going to be good, and it was but it turned out to be a little generic that I expected……after listening to tracks 1-5, it was a miracle that I found a song that I was cool with. [3.5/5]
7. Right now: It was an okay song too, I mean I liked the chorus but it was generic song. [3/5]
8. What now: This song is one of the best tracks on this album, I thought it was good. [4/5]
9. Stay: Another great song on this album, I liked everything about this song, so yay! [4.5/5]
10. Nobody’s Business: I liked the chorus of the song but I felt Rihanna was trying too hard to sound hood and ghetto on this track and the amount of auto-tune was just killing it off for me. [3/5]

So overall from my initial reaction to my very first listening to Unapologetic….I must say I was disappointed for the most part….I will re-listen to it over the weekend for another try but…….no…….. I rank this album [2.5-3/5]

Weakest tracks: Pour it up, Phresh off the runway, Numb, and Get it over with.

I re-listened to Love without tragedy/ Mother Mary and I must say, its great. I was lost with the change in key/tone after the 2 mins when I first listened to it, but I payed close attention to it and I must say its great. Its one of the truly great songs. [4.5/5] — I especially loved the first 2 mins. and the ending.

“ Phresh Out the Runway ”- Wh othe phuck chose this as an opening song Lol, it needs to be snuck in at the middle not an opening track, its just Ok (2.5/5)
“Diamonds” – A feel good song with an anthemic beat! Her voice is a bit off on this song which sets it back. (3/5)
“Numb” feat. Eminem- Terrible, repetivie and boring, worst song on the album (1/5)
Pour it up – Unneccesary, the album could do without it. Its not very good, but its better than the first song and kinda catchy “I still got mah mon-eh” (2.5/5)
Loveeeeee Song Rihanna’s verses on this song are very catchy! She is really giving it to us lyrically but that crack adict “Future” almsot ruined it. Still a potential RADIO HIT (which her hoe fans are thirsty for) , great anyway! (4/5)
Jump A dance smash that gives me what I need, definitely the best song so far (4/5)
Right Now Another hot dance track, but its much more short and generic than Jump (3/5)
What Now One of my favorite songs, her voice is powerful in the chorus and she even tries something new in the verses (only kind of worked though). This song is amazing and even non-fans will love (4.5/5)
Stay Although it grew on me after she performed it its still only good sometimes, although when you’re in the mood it slays. Mikky Ekko did add nothing but a male voice to the song though. 2.5/5
Nobodies Buisness Terrible intro, but after that it started to get better. Just when I started to like it Stupid ass Chris brown and his 10,000 pounds of autotune and crazy crackhead screaming ruined it. Mediocre. (1.5/5)
Love Without Tradgedy/ Mother Mary If you don’t like this song I suggest you see a doctor about your hearing. ITS AMAAAAAAAZING! Love Without tradgedy is GREAT but Mother Mary is just amazing. Its the most captivating song on the album other than What now. It pulls you in and you feel the emotions with her. (5/5)
Get it over with When I first heard this song It was not a standout and very forgettable. I was still curious to hear it and I love it. Great weed song lol (At least its more self-reflective than “Numb”) (3/5)
No love allowed In the words of a far inferior song “WHEEEEEEEEEEEEERE HAAAAAAVE YOU BEEEN, ALLL MY LIFE!” She is comfortable on this song and even brings back the island swag non carribean hoes like Incestra Snora, Bleachonce and Nicki Minaj (That jamacian accent is terrible) all attempt. (4/5)
Lost in Paridise I don’t even remember this song, From the snippet it had a strong chrous and terribly weak akward verses 2.5/5
Standout Songs: Diamonds, Jump, What Now, Love without Tradgedy, No Love allowed, Loveee song and Get it over with.
Weakest Tracks: Lost In Paridise (could of been much better), Numb, Phresh off the Runway.

I completely disagree with Lost in paradise and Get it over with rankings. Get it over with is very forgettable (what was it about again?) and generic, unneeded song Imo. I agree with Mother Mary song…..I needed a second listen though lol. Lost in paradise is a great song….I suggest you re-listen to it.

Numb was bad, it caught me off guard. I thought it was going to “Love the way you lie” p.2. Stay deserved a higher rating imo….and Jump was a little generic…….
I was considering buying it. but I’m not because I enjoy 3-5 songs completely. Are you buying? Are you happy with this product? Is is worse or better than TTT?

Anyone who thinks this is worse than TTT needa a mental evaluation. TTT is her worst album not including those firs two mediocre albums. It had terrrible vocal production, terrible lyrics and was pretty mediocre tbh. Only a few good songs so Im glad we’ve moved on from that.
I like Stay the same way I like Get it over with, I love them but they seem like weak songs to me. Don’t buy it if you don’t want to, but give it (as a whole) another listen. If you like ti more than the first, cop that shit, if not, don’t buy it.
And I will be buying no doubt about it. Thats what fans do (unless they’re hoes).

They could sit around and watch paparazzi videos and critisze CRITICAL things about her career like the color of her snapback or her walking style. And the importance of U.s. number one albums instead of having them all ova the world.
Talk That Talk was a mess but her fans are trying to Imply that it is better than Unpaologetic because it has more cheesy dance-pop songs like WFL and WHYB. I like the urban counterparts like Jump and Right now. They will be called generic but while their lyrics are their instrumentals (which lead dance songs) are very uncommon. She is bringing Electronic Dance Music.
You might be annoyed cause I hailed it as the second come of Rated Rihsus but it wasn’t. Do you like it more than Loud or is Loud better LOL.

As much as I like No love allowed, it could neva……I wasn’t (and still am not) a big fan of Loud but I liked the era…..she seemed the happiest and the era was handled correctly. I like CKB and S&M but of course love Man down so def Loud is better.

Reading the reviews of the album, I see a lot people don’t like “Get It Over With.” Sorry, that song is BRILLIANT. Here are my top 5 in order:
