MNEK continues to flex his versatility on his new single ‘Muscle Marys..’

Lifted from his forthcoming album, ‘BULLDOZER!!,’ the track finds the multi-hyphenate on lyrically reflective terrain.

Speaking on the release, the GRAMMY and BRIT Award nominee shared:

“Muscle Marys.. is a song I wrote about body image and what I feel a lot of men of a certain size deal with but don’t always know how to articulate. This song is me figuring it out and it shows a more vulnerable side to the BULLDOZER!! world. It’s one of my favorite songs I’ve ever put out, I hope people enjoy it too.”

The candid cut serves as the latest taste of its housing LP, which is preceded by singles ‘REVERSE!!’ and ‘OH NO!! ALL THE BOYS!!.’

Culturally, saying “church” is its own kind of affirmation. It’s “amen.” It’s “you right.” And sometimes, when no one else is there to affirm you, you have to amen yourself. The song mirrors that journey musically. It moves through gospel, bounce and dance music, with nods to the energy of Crystal Waters and La Bouche.
