Tory Lanez‘s big for release on bail has been tossed by a judge.
Full story below…
As reported, the embattled star was sentenced to 10 years in prison in August for shooting Megan Thee Stallion in a shocking incident that took place in July 2020.
Lanez’s legal counsel has petitioned for his release on bail so as to proceed with an appeal.
However, Judge Herriford – who presided over the main case – denied the request at a hearing Lanez attended today (September 14).
According to legal reporter Meghann Cuniff, who was in attendance, Herriford said:
“The motion will be denied and proceedings concluded. Thank you,”
Lanez – who, despite a mountain of evidence to the contrary, maintains his innocence – reportedly grinned at his supporters, including his father and friends before being escorted back into custody.
