“Let Me Sing My Song”: Kim Burrell Slammed For Scolding Churchgoers AGAIN For Singing With Her in Church [Video]

Try Me Again‘ hitmaker Kim Burrell didn’t take kindly to being tried again by enthusiastic churchgoers who wanted to sing along during one of her live performances.

The embattled Gospel icon, who infamously endured backlash in the past for publicly condemning the LGBTQ+ community and dissing unattractive churchgoers, also found herself unceremoniously slammed by social media commenters in January for demanding church attendees be quiet while she was leading the worship service.

Just 8 months later, Burrell is back in the hot seat for similar behavior.

More inside.

As a headlining act of New York’s 1st Annual Gospel Celebration on Saturday (September 21), Kim not only wowed with a soaring vocal display but also showing off her new svelte figure after a dramatic weight loss.

Something else the Gospel diva seems to have lost was her patience, however, when loud singers in the audience were serving distractions during her performance.

Much like her fiery pulpit scolding back in January, Burrell was quick to check the offenders.

“Y’all want me to get beat up and tell y’all ‘let that mask work for you,'” she said to the audience (as seen in the video above). “Please let me sing my song…give me one round by myself.”

The spicy comments definitely set some social media users ablaze, many of whom not only slammed Burrell for her statement but also her wardrobe.

See highlights below.

At the time of this report Kim has not responded to her latest backlash.
