It appears not even the combined star power of Ariana Grande, Lana Del Rey, and Miley Cyrus is potent enough to keep their collaborative effort, ‘Don’t Call Me Angel,’ afloat on the Hot 100.

After making a promising #13 debut on the tally last week (as we reported here), many assumed the tune – the lead single from the Grande-curated soundtrack of the 2019 ‘Charlie’s Angels’ reboot film – was well on its way to soaring into the top 10.

What a difference a week makes.

Despite moderate radio airplay and streaming figures proving to be ‘Angel’s saving grace, the tune’s digital sales have failed to meet hype or expectations since its September 13 unveiling.  The sales decline is mirrored on the Hot 100 this week as the Max Martin-produced bop has plummeted out of the top 40.

After tip-toeing one week closer to doing so, it’s pretty safe to say Iggy Azalea doesn’t exactly fancy fellow rapstress Lizzo‘s chances of unseating her 2014 Charli XCX-assisted hit from history books.

On Monday (September 30), Billboard announced Liz (born Melissa Jefferson) had earned a fifth consecutive week at #1 on the Hot 100 with her breakout hit, ‘Truth Hurts.’  Extending its record as the longest running unassisted chart-topper by a female rapper (click here to read more), the song is now only three weeks shy of breaking the all-time record among femcees for longest running #1 overall.

Taking to Twitter to celebrate the news, Lizzo posted:

Azalea didn’t exactly appreciate Jefferson’s intentional failure to mention her.  Feeling slighted, the Grammy nominee clapped back with:

Admittedly, That Grape Juice was among the critics who panned Rihanna‘s last album, the 2016-released ‘Anti,’ for its adventurous offerings and an equally risky rollout that raised eyebrows and saw heads scratched at how it managed to be certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America a day after its release (despite selling less than 500 copies its first week).

Now, it appears the Bajan beauty will have the last laugh.

As calls for the project’s yet-titled follow-up increase, the diva’s fans – affectionately called #TheNavy – appear to be clinging tight to its content, a feat evidenced by its buoyancy on the Billboard 200.  Nearing its 200th week on the chart, the set’s enduring success on the tally has penciled Ri in its history books for quite the impressive feat.

Celine Dion‘s North American fans should expect to see much of the diva over the coming months.

In addition to promotion of her latest singles – ‘Lying Down,’ ‘Imperfections,’ and ‘Courage’ (click here to listen) – Dion is expected to hit the late night TV, early morning news, and award show circuit in support of their November 15th-due parent album, ‘Courage’ (her first English language album in six years).

As if that’s not enough, the Pop icon – already blazing the continent on the first leg of her ‘Courage World Tour’ (which kicked off September 18) – has announced she’ll be bringing the critically acclaimed jaunt to even more U.S. cities in support of her latest LP.

After joining forces for 2016’s NBC adaptation of the classic Broadway musical, ‘Hairspray!’ live, Ariana Grande and Kristin Chenoweth reunite – this time for the latter’s sixth studio album, ‘For the Girls.’

Tackling the classic feminist anthem, ‘You Don’t Own Me’ (originally recorded by Lesley Gore in 1963 but re-popularized by the 1996 film ‘The First Wives Club’), Chenoweth and Grande show off their respective vocal prowess and put the boys in check over the string-assisted verses.

One of many gems found aboard Chenoweth’s ‘Girls’ (in stores today), look inside to hear their rendition of the timeless tune:

Kanye West may not be big on cracking smiles, but one peek at Forbes’ ‘Highest Paid in Hip Hop’ list should definitely give the hitmaker a reason to flash those pearly whites.

For the first time ever, the ‘Gold Digger’ creator – thanks to the gold mine he’s struck in music and fashion – finds himself atop the finance mag’s list of highest earners in the genre.  Leading a tally that mentions the likes of Drake, DJ Khaled, Nicki Minaj, and many more, the 42-year-old raked in a whopping $150 million over the last year.

What’s more?  He’s set to see that figure increase by the time his earnings are tallied next year.  Until that time, look inside to see who joins him on the exclusive list:
