Michelle Williams isn’t just a ‘Survivor,’ she’s a thriver.

It’s been 20 years since the multifaceted performer joined Destiny’s Child and cemented her spot as not only as a defining member of the legendary group but as a talent whose gift lends itself to many arenas.

Fending off the sometimes unkind pitchforks pointed her way online, she’s risen above to shine with projects such as ‘Heart To Yours’ and ‘Journey To Freedom’ – which featured the still bumping ‘Say Yes.’

Particularly potent has been her foray into Broadway and stage stage productions more broadly.

Join us below, as TGJ’s Retro Rewind revisits the likes of ‘Aida’, ‘The Color Purple’, and ‘Chicago.’

Trina has spoken!

The ‘Diamond Princess,’ after a day of keeping fans waiting with bated breath, has finally addressed the rumor that she and ‘BAPS’ co-star, Nicki Minaj, are at odds due to the shooting of the tune’s music video (and other behind the scenes happenings).

Murmurs of a rift between the Rap divas was sent into overdrive when a member of the 40-year-old’s team (A&R Reginald Saunders) took to social media to call Minaj out for unprofessional behavior (click here to read more), to which the Harajuku Barbie responded:

“Right now Trina’s camp is accusing me of not doing enough to push her song ‘Baps,'” Nick said. “I have my own schedule… it’s not fair that people don’t understand that. I would never have someone from my team disrespect somebody that has been nothing but real to me.”

Now, T is setting the record straight and publicly reprimanding Saunders for overstepping his bounds.  All this and more inside:

Trina found her self in a tangled set of headlines this week after a member of her team took to social media with damning jabs aimed at Nicki Minaj.

As reported, the veteran’s A&R charged Onika with allegations of being deceitful and uncooperative when it comes to the push for the rappers’ collaboration ‘BAPS.’

In the time since, Minaj loosely addressed the matter on Queen Radio and multitudes of her fans have flooded the Queen of Miami’s social pages to throw shade and demand answers.

It’s also re-ignited the debate about the Barbz leader’s various spats.

Now, it looks like Trina will be breaking her silence on the matter.

Last night saw Nicki Minaj set the airwaves ablaze with a drama-filled episode of Queen Radio on Apple Music.

As reported, she sounded off on the likes of Joe Budden, Trina(‘s team), and ‘The Breakfast Club’ – notably Charlamagne and DJ Envy – many of whom she accuses of fuelling and choo-choo’ing “The Nicki Hate Train.”

This morning on Power 105.1, The Breakfast Club weighed-in. And while they were endorsing of the femcee (expressing that they love Onika), Charlamagne warned that she needs to stop claiming everyone’s against her, so as not to become “Rap’s Mo’Nique.” Yikes.

Nicki Minaj is trending on social media thanks to the latest drama on Queen Radio. But so too is Trina.

However, it’s for an altogether different reason.

Earlier today Reginald Saunders, Trina’s A&R, took to social media with a damning post branding Nicki a “deceiver” and a “manipulator.” All of which relating to their collaboration ‘BAPS’ from recently released album ‘The One.’

Now, Saunders has opened up more about the matter in an in-depth interview with Funky Dineva.

In the 17-minute interview, he unpacks issues surrounding the song’s video (or lack-thereof), the release of ‘Megatron’ on the same day as ‘BAPS,’ and more.
