Beyonce‘s foray into Country music has been nothing short of historic.

Beyond watching the single ‘16 Carriages‘ ride her into history books for being one of few female singers with over 50 top 40 hits, the Killah B-produced ‘Texas Hold ‘Em‘ took hold of the Hot 100’s top spot this week – a feat that made her the first Black woman to occupy the hitlist’s summit with a Country tune.

As if that’s not enough to boast, she joins Taylor Swift as the only women to top the all-genre chart with a Country hit this century.

And, while her beloved fanbase – affectionately call the #Beyhive – continue to buzz over the aforementioned triumphs, there may be an even bigger reason to celebrate.

Chris Brown is undoubtedly one of the century’s most dynamic showmen, a quality outshone only by his historic catalog of hits.

For those reasons and others, music lovers have long called for him to bring his jaw-dropping talents to the biggest stage on Earth – the Super Bowl Halftime Show.

And while the massive outing has cemented the legendary status of some of music history’s biggest names like Michael Jackson, Madonna, Janet Jackson, Prince, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, and more, Brown stunned fans last year when he declared he had no interest in the opportunity if it were ever presented.

“Never shawty.. American media AINT FA me. Rather be where I’m welcomed,” he said in February 2023 in response to a fan who inquired about when he take the Super Bowl stage.

Despite the surprising jeer, music lovers – still high from Usher’s electrifying set on Sunday (February 11) – have already begun creating a wishlist for who next year’s headliner should be and Chris is seemingly atop the list.
