Mathew Knowles isn’t the only person with a new baby to show off. Teen sensation Justin Bieber hit the stage on ‘The Late Show with David Letterman’ last evening and performed ‘Baby’ – the lead single from his debut album, ‘My World 2.0’, which hit stores yesterday. The song has thus far peaked at #5 on the Billboard Hot 100. Check out the performance below:

After Mathew Knowles‘ lengthy silence on the bombshell allegations that he fathered a child during an 18 month affair with former worker Alexandria Wright, TMZ are reporting that the allegations are indeed true.

Mathew Knowles, Beyonce and Solange’s dad and manager, is the father of the baby Nixon.

Originally ordered to pay temporary child support of $8200 a month, a more permanent agreement is close to being reached by both legal teams, after Knowles’ March 1st DNA test came back positive.

Knowles and wife of 30 years, Tina, filed for divorce late last year, following a period of separation which commenced 11 months prior.

The future seems to be growing ever-brighter for newcomer Jason Derulo. Hot on the heels of his two top-10 smashes on the Billboard Hot 100, the 20 year old has confirmed that he is set to begin work on Madonna‘s upcoming new album. Speaking to US Weekly, Deruoo said:

I’m about to work with Madonna, and I’ve been watching her for years. I would love to be a part of another reinvention. She’s been able to reinvent herself time and time again. I’ll probably be part of that.

The ‘In My Head’ singer joins the likes of David Guetta, who has also been tapped to work on the 51 year old’s project. If Deruolo and Guetta are any indication of the sound ol’ Madge is going for this go round, a Dance/Pop record may be in the working for her. That aside, this is perhaps the best look yet for the budding singer/songwriter – who more likely than not will be penning tracks for the album, as opposed to singing on it.

Tidbit: In other Derulo news, he also confirmed he is working on new material for his own sophomore album, which could be out as early as November (his debut hit stores earlier this month). Just as well, as that first LP was just not cutting it…

Monica continued along the promotional trail for her new LP ‘Still Standing’ yesterday, with another spot in BET’s 106 & Park. This go round, the 29 year old performed her latest smash ‘Everything To Me’, which looks like a cert for the #1 spot on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop chart this week. Peep the performance above…

Not the best performance I’ve heard of the song, but a good nonetheless! Go Monica!

Our good friends over at AOL Black Voices attended the premiere of Tyler Perry’s ‘Why Did I Get Married Too’ yesterday. While, there the ever-reliable outlet nabbed an exclusive from Perry regarding his latest movie – ‘For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow is Enuf (Editor: Yes, that really is the title).

Perhaps most interesting about the announcement, was Perry’s confirmation of the film’s cast – which is stellar to say the very least. Appearing in the movie will be…Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey, Whoopi Goldberg, Phylicia Rashad, Jurnee Smollett, Kimberly Elise, Kerry WashingtonLoretta Devine and Macy Gray. Find out all about the movie, via AOL, after the jump…

Pop star Christina Aguilera is prepping a return to the charts with new single ‘Not Myself Tonight’, the official first single to be lifted from her forthcoming LP ‘Bionic’. The cover for the single was accompanied by a message from the Aguilera’s team on her official site, promising fans that every day this week will bring a new surprise from the Grammy winner. A counter clock promptly went up. Exciting stuff.

About the cover…I’m not feeling it. As should always be the case though, it’s the music that counts, hence I’ll reserve any kinda judgement until hearing / seeing what Ms. Dirrty has up her sleeve. In the meanwhile…

Things appear to be going from bad to worse for the Sugababes. Following the dismal debut of their ‘Sweet 7’ LP, midweek figures today revealed that the album is set to crash out of #40 in its second week on the Official UK Album Chart. That doesn’t appear to be the worse of their woes though, as there is now increasing talk that the ladies were quietly dropped by production label Roc Nation last month.

Some may remember that the group signed the lucrative deal in early 2009 with the company shortly before the recording process of ‘Sweet 7’ commenced. Indeed, it was that very production deal which enabled the group, then-fronted by Keisha Buchanan, to work with US-based hitmakers such as Ne-Yo and RedOne for the proeject.

It now seems the drama and awful performance of the project on a whole left a sour taste in the mouth of Roc Nation, who are now reportedly referring to the group as ‘former clients’. The group are also no longer featured on the company’s site. Miaw!

UK media darling and X-Factor judge Cheryl Cole stopped by BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge to perform new single ‘Parachute’. Check out how the former Girl’s Aloud singer fared above…

After watching that, I doubt I’ll ever moan about Cheryl’s now-notorious lip-synching again. Atrocious. Truth be told, I should known better when I initially saw the words ‘Cheryl Cole’ and ‘Live’. That said, I always thought that was an oxymoron. In any case, it makes you wonder how this beautiful young lady is judging other people’s talent on the X-Factor. Then again, I guess the answer lies in just that….her ‘beauty’…SMH.

Monica‘s hotly anticipated 6th studio album ‘Still Standing’ finally hit stores today. The set, which was preceded by the BET reality show of the same name, as well as first single ‘Everything To Me’, looks set to re-affirm the young veteran’s place as one R&B’s premier acts – and rightfully so. The album is, to put it simply, audio fire! Hands down one of the best body’s of work we’ve had the privilege of listening to in a long time.

We’re keen to hear whether you guys are feeling Monica this go round? Will you be buying the LP? Got it already; what do you think of it? Drop your views in the comments section! In the meanwhile, I’ll leave you with, what has to be my favourite Monica cut ever, the Polow Da Don produced ‘Here I Am’ – which is lifted from the album…

Superstar Janet Jackson graced the red carpet at the première of her new movie,  ‘Why Did I Get Married Too’ last night. The youngest of the Jackson clan was joined by the oldest, big sister Rebbie, who is renown for being the most private member of the family, when it comes to media attention. As hard as it may be to believe, Rebbie is approaching 60 years old! Both looked stunning! Check out more pics below…
