Besting sales of last week’s best sellers Rihanna and Ke$ha, Adele’s storm of charts is bested only by country princess Taylor Swift whose third single boasted 312k in first week sales.

I will be the first to say that Adele is overhyped. I know this because I have her “21″ CD and I honestly always skip over most of the songs except for 5 of them. Furthermore, I do think Adele is really talented but her music just isn’t for everyone. Unlike a lot of people on the Billboard 100 she actually knows how to appeal to a wide range of people. Young and old people can sing along to “Rolling in the deep”, Someone like you”, “Rumor has it”, etc. Adele came along at a time when people are growing tired of dance/electro pop which is why she’s so successful.

Adele really is an instant legend. This new song is so dark and her vocals are just raw. Her voice is completely amazing. Rihanna needs to promote diamonds, I have never even heard SKYFLOP on the radio and I don’t think it will ever be played, I know she debuted at 8 on the Hot 100 so its obviously getting played somewhere. Her mediocre ass will continue to “slay” for no reason.
But Like I was saying when is Rih gonna perform Diamonds? If she doesen’t it will be a top 10 hit but it will not last very long. It is not the fault of Roc nation. Def jam is her label. Skyfall gets played on pop station, and adult contemporary. Plus, and this is the kicker – IT COMES FROM THE MUCHED HYPE JAMES BOND FILM. If it was from her LP it would not sell like this, but BOND has been around for 50 years and the songs are an integral part on James Bond. Skyfall is no longer number 1 in the UK, it is being outsold by swedish mafia – who are on Rih new LP.
I would not worry. Rih has got this. WHYB is still selling in the USA – EVEN though it has crossed a million units in the US.

I think it is time Rihanna parted ways with Island DefJam and signed with either Epic Records (reunited with LA Reid) or Interscope (Jimmy Iovine is a genius). I think Island DefJam started messing her up with Talk That Talk and it seems they’ll mess her up again with her 7th album judging from the way they have handled Diamonds.
I also think it is time Rihanna parted ways with FLOP Nation and got new management (but maintains her current team). Let’s face it, with the way FLOP Nation have handled their artists, they simply don’t have a positive track record to prove they are a reputable record label. FLOP Nation is starting to look more like, if not worst than Relentless, SyCo, RCA, Universal Republic which are all horrible record labels.

TTT was lackluster for Rih, cos she made it in hotels around Europe. That is why it was rushed. It still is selling; it still has done over 3 and still spawned MEGA MONSTER HITS – MAYBE some of the biggest hits of her career. WFL video is HER BEST YET and will garner her more acting work, as she showed a stellar acting performance. Unlike Beyowulf, she does not have sweat blood and tears to sell.
Diamonds is a smash hit in every global market. iT HAS already claimed number 1 in the UK , France etc. That is amazing.

And even more good news! AC/ DC – Rih competition for number 1in the USA are NOT releasing an studio album, they are releasing a LIVE FROM ARGENTINA ALBUM. It is their live album from 2009.
