It’s been nearly 7 years since powerhouse songstress Christina Aguilera struck out on a world tour.  Despite murmurs and mentions of worldwide treks to support her two latest projects ‘Bionic’ (2010) and ‘Lotus’ (2012), the pop diva has always cited other ventures (i.e. movies, motherhood, ‘The Voice’) as reasons why she hasn’t hit the road.

Apparently, fans have heard enough – especially since she left this year’s ‘Cisco Rocks’ concert in ashes after delivering a scorching hourlong performance of some of her top hits.  Sending supporters into a frenzy, the #Fighters collectively set Twitter alight to motion for a new tour from the Grammy winner to coincide with her next release.

She’s still got it…and “it” in abundance.  The question now becomes:  will she answer her fans’ call?

Reports have it the highly anticipated remake of the classic Diana Ross musical film ‘The Wiz’ (a Motown-inspired twist on Judy Garland‘s ‘The Wizard of Oz’) just added entertainment royalty to its cast via Queen of Hip Hop Soul Mary J. Blige and Queen Latifah.

Set to air December 3rd on NBC, the live musical adaptation will see the divas take on two of the flick’s most beloved characters – The Wizard and the Wicked Witch of the West.

Nicki Minaj faces a PR mess of sorts today after her ex-boyfriend and hype man Safaree Samuels unleashed a new number named ‘Lifeline’ which takes aim at she and her new lover Meek Mill.

The cut comes in response to remarks both performers have made about Samuels since his split with Minaj after Mill surprised Minaj fans when he started a feud with her Young Money sibling Drake.

Like The Weeknd last week, Fetty Wap has taken command of the Hot 100’s upper rankings with not one, not two, but three entries!

While his breakthrough hit ‘Trap Queen’ is still getting a royal reception at radio, the New Jersey-native has sailed two other numbers – ‘679’ and ‘My Way’ – right into the top 20.  The latter has also made its way into the history books with a huge 87-7 leap (the largest leap since Katy Perry pounced from #85 to #2 with 2013’s ‘Roar’).  His entries give him three other distinct honors:  4th artist in 2015 to have two concurrent top 10s, first male rapper (as a leading act) to notch two concurrent top 10s since Lil Wayne in 2011, and first male rapper to have three concurrent top 20s since Eminem in 2013.

But, even with all of his chart glory, it wasn’t enough to dethrone OMI‘s ‘Cheerleader’ which is celebrating its third consecutive week on the chart’s perch.
