With Ciara‘s buzz single ‘Sweat’ having fast evaporated, all eyes have been on what the talented star is set to serve up next.

And while silence has greeted the ever-fervent question from fans, the singer’s mentor and label head LA Reid addressed the status of her ‘One Woman Army’ project on Bravo‘s What Happens Live last night.

Pooch Hall, better known as ‘Derwin Davis’ – star of BET‘s hit series ‘The Game’, sent fans into an uproar upon learning that he and co-star Tia Mowry (Melanie) would no longer be a part of the show’s cast.

And, despite later implying that he would be open to returning to the show, news of his new leading role on Showtime’s “Ray Donovan” seemed to seal the deal.  Until now…

Taking to Twitter (and a Toronto nightclub), the Massachusetts  actor has sent the show’s faithful followers into a frenzy by teasing his inclusion on season 6 of the show.

What this will mean for the show’s new male lead, has yet to be seen.

Actor, comedian, and all-round funny-man Kevin Hart was today announced as the host of the MTV Video Music Awards 2012.

His unveiling, which comes following weeks of speculation, was ushered in with a hilarious skit starring Kanye West and girlfriend Kim Kardashian.

Perhaps more embarrassing than her performance at 2011’s ‘Rock In Rio’, yesterday saw Rihanna publicly humiliated by Beiersdorf CEO who announced he had terminated the star’s contract with Nivea, which he now heads.

Hinting that his decision came on the grounds of her reportedly ‘sexy’ lifestyle, his harsh announcement prompted polarized responses online, some of which criticized the businessman’s suggestive remarks- all but calling the star immoral.

Now we ask you, do you think Nivea was right to drop Rihanna?

Luke James has built quite the buzz on the underground circuit and now- in a bid to take his star to all new heights- the entertainer made a guest appearance on BET’s ‘106 & Park‘.

Dishing on his debut LP ‘Made To Love’, the performer spoke openly on the album’s Blues influence and how his New Orleans upbringing has helped craft its sound.
