Take a walk down memory lane with us today, as we look back at one of our favorite Beyonce performances of all time.

Arriving at the 77th Annual Academy Awards with then fiancee Jay Z, the night saw the 24 year old perform a total of three times, honouring three of the nominated songs with her own unique takes on them- the best of these being her cover of the Andrew Lloyd Webber penned, ‘Learn To Be Lonely‘.

However, while the above marked her strongest performance, it was her take on the ‘Les Choristes’ number ‘Look To Your Path (Vois Sur Ton Chemin)’ that stands as her most interesting.

Why, you ask?

Peep these pics of ‘Unapologetic‘ singer Rihanna, arriving at a London hotel before the launch of her River Island outing at Fashion Week outing.

Wearing a coat previously worn by ‘Sweet Love’ Prince Chris Brown, the singer touched down in the city before she hits the catwalk for her line with the aforementioned company- her latest fashion venture since her ill fated fashion show- ‘Styled To Rock’.

This week’s That Grape Juice ‘Cover Star‘ comes from Atlantan crooner Corey Mekell. Watch as the U.S. native suits up for a slick cover of Justin Timberlake‘s long-awaited comeback single ‘Suit & Tie’ below (start at :14):

Now this is what we’re talking about!

If ‘Suit & Tie’ is the beginning of R&B’s resurgence on charts, let’s hope that acts like Corey Mekell are part of the new school that resuscitate interest the genre.  For, as the young crooner’s Youtube page evidences, he’s certainly got what it takes to do so.

Lending a very radio friendly sound to his original and cover jobs, Mekell is giving us a much needed mix of style and substance with his offerings – one that we are certainly not mad at!  Kudos to Mekell!

If you haven’t been following Lady GaGa‘s career of late, it may have become a little easy to forget just why her name oft shines brightest when placed next to most of her contemporaries.

Now, in case it’s been a while since you’ve seen the ‘Love Game‘ belle in action, peep her performance of ‘Fashion Of His Love‘ and ‘Just Dance’ at Montreal’s Bell Centre below!

It’s been a tricky few years for songbird Leona Lewis. Hailed as the second coming of Mariah Carey (with mammoth like success to match), the singer seemed poised for global superstardom.

Yet, a mishandled sophomore album and an incredibly mis-judged third album have left the Londoner in quite the precarious position.

And while not vocalizing the usual “artist done wrong” narrative that so many in her position employ, The X Factor alum is letting her actions do the talking instead.

Full story after the jump…

Celebrities were feeling the love this week and were lending covers to their favorite love songs left and right and two of the most talked about came from actor/heartthrob Vin Diesel & Grammy-nominated diva Tamia.

Diesel, best known for the ‘Fast & the Furious’ franchise, showed a softer side when he delivered an interesting rendition of Rihanna‘s latest hit ‘Stay’.  Performing with the tune’s recently released video playing  in the background, the showing (needless to say) definitely proves where the muscle man’s strengths truly lie.  See what we mean below:

In other celebrity covers, powerhouse vocalist Tamia showed love to crooner Bruno Mars when she took his #1 smash ‘Locked Out of Heaven’ to task – delivering a heavenly cover of the 2012 hit.  Singing like only she can, see miss Hill do her thing below:

Barely a month has passed since the last heated tweet beef between femcee Azealia Banks and media maven Perez Hilton cooled.

But, if recent fiery comments made by Banks are anything to go by, the heat is still very much on.  For, after engaging in a verbal battle with Baauer (the creator of the revamped ‘Harlem Shake’ movement), the ‘Van Vogue’ vixen shook things up when she referenced the new hitmaker with gay slurs.

Prompting the chime in of Hilton, see the fiery exchange between the divas below.  Let’s just say, the censors were nowhere to be found:

Roc Nation star Rita Ora got all sorts of ‘Radioactive’ on ‘The Graham Norton Show’ tonight.

Taking a brief break from her sell-out UK tour, the 22 year old turned in a rousing performance of the song, which likely serves as the last cut to be lifted from her debut album ‘Ora’ – a project which has, to date, spawned three British #1’s.

Get all the way into this snap of Pop icon Beyonce and her one year old daughter Blue Ivy Carter, photographed together as part of B’s forthcoming ‘Life Is But A Dream’ documentary which airs tomorrow night on HBO.

Almost identical to both her mother and father, Ms. Ivy’s appearance in the snap marks the first time her full face has been seen since her birth last year, and comes after her mother spoke to Vogue on the bond they share and how her birth has reshaped her world view.

Chris Brown takes his fans on a personal journey tonight, pulling them into his world with the moving video, ‘Home‘.

Made up of footage shot of the ‘Run It’ vocalist during his travels across the globe, the clip sheds a much needed light on the brighter side to his cause, via scenes pulled from his latest world tour, parties and alone time.

We’ve given it about five or six spins and have fallen in love with it.

So, if you’re anything like us, we’re sure you will too.

Peace and fun below…

Comedian Kevin Hart reunites his ‘Think Like A Man’ co-stars Michael Ealy and Regina Hall for romantic comedy ‘About Last Night.

Due out next Valentine’s Day (yes, you right), you can watch the trailer above and peep the synopsis below…

Will you be watching?

I wouldn’t be the woman I am if I did not go home to that man‘.

The above words were shared by Beyonce recently, when she sat down for a tell all interview with Oprah for her OWN’s ‘Next Chapter’.

Used to describe her relationship with husband Jay Z, Bey’s conversation with O will air tomorrow night at 8pm, but before it does- catch a brand new preview from it below…
